From beaded wraps to charms and watches, your wrist will certainly be stylin’ this fall. If you really want to get creative and save, try making your own leather wrapping bracelet. It is so easy! Check out the steps:
Take two lengths of leather cord, several same-sized beads, your floss of choice, a crimp for each end, and a clasp (or both if they’re together) and a beading needle. Crimp two of the ends of the leather with your crimp or one half of your closure/crimp combo. Do the same on the other end either now or when you’re done beading, but if you do it now you may have better control, just be sure to leave a bit of slack so you have room for your beads!
Tie one end of the string on the bottom by the crimped edge, leave a bit of tail so you can hide it in the first bead. Put the first bead on over that tail, then wrap the floss around the leather and back through the bead. Wrap around the other side and back to the middle. Put on another bead and repeat until you like it!
